| | If You Had The Chance To Help Colonize Another Planet, Would You? | | So earlier this afternoon I was watching the American space shuttle launching into space. As I watched, I got to thinking about space in general. I've always been really interested in space and astronomy and I've enjoyed shows and movies like Star Trek and Star Wars. Recently I read about how scientists are saying how a Star Trek like warp drive could be very possible in the future.This all got me to thinking. Let's say that there has been an Earth-like planet discovered that is fully capable of supporting life. Let's also say that there are talks about colonizing the planet as well as others like it and as far as getting there at least is completely safe. As great and fun as it sounds, I really don't know if I would or not. I would hate to leave family and friends behind. Of course, at the same time it likely wouldn't be difficult to visit them if something like colonizing a planet was possible.Would you want to be a part of the group of people colonizing another planet if you had the chance? | |

| Would you take your neighbours parking space | | Hey everyone, Im just asking this because the situation on my street is driving me nuts, In my house there are three adults but we all share a car, but some houses have 3 or 4 cars, now the past few days I have got home from work and found that someone is parked outside my house, then I have had to go right down to the end as I would never park outside someone elses house, then I notice that this person already had 2 of their cars parked outside their house. I just think this is bad manners, I know I dont own the road and legally anyone can park there but I think you should have respect, if I dont take your space then why should you take mine? Its not my fault that you have decided you need 3 cars. Its actually got to the point now where my mother wants to take a taxi everywhere as she doesnt want to lose the space outside the house, which is just insane really considering how much the taxis cost her.

| Do you think that Elevated Space Solar Power Plant would be reality? | | Solar energy is abundance but capturing 100% is still not achievable. Since the USA has a technology to build a space elevator. What about integrating it with solar panels to make it a huge solar power plant in the space. what's your opinion on this? | | Would you go into Outer Space or the Moon if you could? | | I was reading an article about how there will be a space station built on our moon in the next decade or two and that non astronauts will be able to go there and visit. Would you go if money and time wasn't an issue? Or do you think the risk would be too much?
Personally, I love watching the night sky and have a telescope which I use regularly. I can name many of the lovely constellations but I have no thoughts of wanting to travel into outer space. Would you enjoy a vacation to the moon and hopefully back again? | |

| | i once saw a flying object in space | | I ONCE SAW A FLYING OBJECT IN the sky. It was something like, a red burning flying object at night back in 1998. We was it with a friend of mine, when we were leaving class at 8.30 pm in a boarding school in machakos, Kenya. We witnessed the two of us. Can anyone out there probably gone through, what the two of us have witnessed. The object seemed to hover around, Like conducting a survey or something, then it vanished. | |
